To study abroad is a dream of many people. To prepare for the fulfillment of this dream can be challenging.
Are you or someone you know one of these people? It is understood that a letter of admission or a visa does not guarantee that your study abroad will be successful; it is just the beginning of the road for your new learning experience. GLV offers a special University Preparation course (UPC) to help students meet this challenge.
The UPC experience will provide indispensable skills that you need to prepare for university, or to undertake academic research. These skills will be of great value throughout your university studies. These skills do not focus only on reading and writing, but also creative thinking, and speaking. . In addition, the course provides many practical steps for students to organize their life and study abroad. Through all these varied experiences, you can improve your ability to think in English.
GLV's Total Immersion Experience (TIE) works through creating a unique 'English Only' environment, and a good atmosphere for learning about other cultures. In GLV, students use English only to communicate. The students remain in the 'English Only' environment for twelve hours per day. In this environment, students focus on their intended area of study, improve their English, and develop their language sense in a short period of time. This program is designed to promote thinking in English. After this experience, students can be more prepared to face their foreign life confidently.
